“The film will examine gun possession in a historical context, details stories concerning the struggle to maintain the right to self-defense and illustrate the ways in which the 2nd amendment has been crucial to that struggle. Filmed exclusively in Chicago the film will follow black citizens who have taken to the courts to maintain those rights. The film also talks to a number of licensed instructors who give perspective on the responsibilities and necessities of gun ownership.
